Your smile is worth it
Regular dental cleanings are not optional to maintain good oral health. Only professional dental hygienists can safely remove harmful bacteria from your teeth and gums. Even patients with stellar oral hygiene routines experience plaque and tartar buildup that cannot be removed just by brushing and flossing. Our dentists and hygienists can also recognize oral and overall health issues by performing a thorough exam with x-rays, allowing us to diagnose and treat issues early before they become serious or harmful.
Belvedere Family Dentistry loves children. We see children as early as the first tooth comes in. Educating children on proper dental hygiene is important. Creating healthy habits at an early age can aid in healthy habits into adulthood. We believe at Belvedere Family Dentistry showing parents how to help their children brush their teeth properly, scheduling routine check-ups and cleanings will aid in creating good oral hygiene for life.
Every child patient receives a special gift after each appointment. Our kid-friendly dental team is patient and caring when providing the highest quality dental care to each child patient.
Here at Belvedere Family Dentistry, we understand that 60% of people have a fear of the dentist. Our office provides a warm inviting atmosphere with friendly staff members that are trained to help calm these fears. We also provide Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) to adults and children 5 years and older to help relax patients so they feel comfortable during their dental treatment.
Maybe you are active in a sport where it is likely to be impacted in the mouth. A simple mouthguard will help protect your teeth. Another common condition is known as bruxism, where people clench and grind their teeth, accelerating tooth wear and tear.
Root canal therapy is a treatment for the inside of the tooth. This treatment is specifically for the nerve or pulp of the tooth. RCT removes the inflamed and/or infected tooth nerve and replaces it with a sterile material for tooth preservation. Once the RCT is completed on a tooth, a crown is recommended.
Extractions are the removal of a tooth that cannot be saved by a filing or by root canal treatment (RCT).
